valley kids Children's ministries

Valley Kids Children's Ministries Coordinator is  Starr Thurman. Our children's program provides opportunities for children to learn about God through Sunday morning and Wednesday night activities, Vacation Bible School, special events and summer camps.

AWANA is our primary ministry for children ages 2yrs - 5th grade.  We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.  The night includes memorizing scripture, lesson, music and games.  It is our goal to provide a safe environment for your children to learn about God's Word. AWANA is a great way for your kids to learn about the Bible, meet new friends and have lots of fun!  

With your child's safety in mind, we use KidCheck to register for all Valley Kids Ministries at FBCGV.  Go to KidCheck to set up your account.   If you use KidCheck for another Church or ministry, you will be able to use your current account.

AWANA begins in September  and ends mid-April.  We follow Frederick County (MD) Public School schedule.  If there is no school or they close early, there is no AWANA. You can check our events calendar if you have questions. (Same day weather closings may not be reflected on the calendar.)
